As the Apple iPad launch date gets closer, more accessories are becoming available. This latest accessory is the oddly named Quirky Cloak. It’s designed to look sleek and protect your iPad at the same time. It’s made from non-slip rubber and has a durable plastic hinge on the edges.

The iPad loads into the top of the case and once inside is held firmly in place by a friction grip. The Quirky Cloak is designed so that the iPad can sit on a surface in landscape mode, or stand up with a kick stand in portrait mode.
The company are selling 620 of these cases with 39 currently being pre-ordered. They’re $36 (@ 26 EURO) and you can “commit” to buy one now.
The Apple iPad is scheduled to arrive in US stores on April 3.And what about Ireland I hear you ask? According to Apple: “As far as iPad availability is concerned, Ireland in the second wave of availability after the US. At this point we haven’t confirmed availability for Ireland.”
